We got married here on the 2nd of May- it is a stunning venue with a wonderful manager who was determined we have the ceremony we wanted despite the rain!

The vibe is lovely and the landscape beautiful. Being able to have the venue for the weekend meant spending more time with the bridal party & groomsman and less stress in the morning!

We recently got married at Barley Wood and feel very lucky and privileged to have done so. From the first visit Zach was very patient and wonderful with answering any questions we had (and there were many!) he unfortunately couldn't be there on our wedding weekend but the amazing caretaker Connor was on hand to help with any concerns. It’s worth adding that both of these staff had chosen the venue to get married at which gave us all the confidence we needed!

The venue is so stunning, which meant we didn’t need much to decorate and make it our own. The grounds are gorgeous and well looked after, combine that with a sunny day and there were a lot of happy faces.

The bedrooms were all beautiful, spacious and clean. There was a slight issue with fuses on the top floor but Connor was there to step in and fix it straight away.

Overall, the whole weekend was great. We felt like we had all the freedom to do what we wanted and were allowed to really make it our own. Once the guests had checked out they could stay til a bit later which allowed us the time to clean up and pack things away with no urgency. Just what we needed.

A massive thank you to all staff at Barley Wood for hosting and providing the most magical venue leaving us with the best memories!

We had our wedding at Barley Wood in February 2026 and had the best day. Zach made the preparation in the lead up so smooth, giving advice and support where we needed it. On the day, he and his team worked so hard to make the day as special as it could be. Having met Zach several times before the day, as well as working closely on the day before the wedding, it made the Wedding Day much less stressful. It was wonderful to be able to have the whole house from Friday until Sunday as it made the wedding feel much more relaxed and gave us time to really enjoy the weekend.
The bar offered a wide variety of drinks and we received many compliments from our guests about the selection as well as the service provided.
We can’t recommend Barley Wood enough and would absolutely love to return here for future celebrations.

Zach and Connor worked really hard to make sure that we had an absolutely incredible wedding at Barley Wood. Zach was so attentive and particular in his planning and couldn't do enough to help us with our plans. We visited the venue a few times and Zach was always happy to receive us and show us around as we planned things out.
Connor was never far away and was so helpful with anything we needed of him whilst we were at the venue.
We ended up having a wedding that exceeded all our expectations and a party that all of our friends will remember for years.
Thanks guys! It's almost a shame we can't do it again 😁

We had our wedding at Barley Wood House in September 2025, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue.

The house, grounds and views are stunning with so many gorgeous spots for photos. It felt exclusive and special.

A huge part of what made the experience stress free was Zach, who was incredible from start to finish. From our first visit right through to the big day, he was friendly and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, communication was excellent, and he always made us feel completely supported and confident that everything was under control.

If you’re looking for a beautiful exclusive venue, we couldn’t recommend Barley Wood House enough.

Barleywood was absolutely perfect in every way for our wedding.
Zack was amazing from start to finish and I truly believe our wedding wouldn’t have gone as smoothly if it wasn’t for him and all his hardwork and calming personality.

I had my wedding at Barley Wood on the weekend of October 18th, and it was absolutely stunning. Zach and his team were a dream to work with, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day.

The venue itself is beautiful; don't be discouraged by the blank canvas it presents. This flexibility allows you to design your day exactly as you envision it. You can tailor the costs to fit your budget and choose a style that is as simple or extravagant as you desire.

Barley Wood truly felt like our own home for the weekend, and we were genuinely sad to leave on Sunday.

If you have viewed the space and think it might be the perfect fit for you, don’t hesitate, just book it! I promise, it’s worth it.

We chose Barley Wood for our wedding in October and it was the most magical, perfect day! Zach the manager could not be more helpful, answering queries, providing info and top tips and helping out during the set up and day of our wedding. The house is beautiful and was the perfect setting. We were lucky enough to get married outside with an amazing view of the countryside and our photos look fantastic, including some beautiful ones taken on the woodland path. Having the venue for the entire weekend really helped ease any stress, being able to set up the day before so we could just enjoy the actual day itself. The flexibility to decorate however we wanted and bring in all of the vendors of our choice makes Barley Wood a stand out in our opinion.
